A Brief History of Armor Security: As a family owned business since 1972, Armor’s employees are the most important part of our business designing and installing integrated alarm, card access, video and locking systems for Twin Cities homes and business. Armor is a 32- person security team that provides experienced talent and expertise for clients to solve their security problems. Our system designs can be as simple as door latch guard or as complex as a multiple door card access system controlled from an app or PC from any remote location.

This is a Fast Track training program where you will ride with a Senior Locksmith to quickly gain the experience necessary to advance from rookie to regular physical hardware (locksmith) technician. Our training program will take you from Apprentice to solid Technician ASAP while providing you a respected trade/career that is in high demand. Includes late model Ford with complete shop on wheels, uniforms, iPhone, and health benefits. Minimum requirements: Previous mechanical experience with strong problem-solving abilities, any previous electronic or electrical experience is helpful, experience working closely with customers, high school diploma. Minimum requirements: high school diploma or equivalent, valid drivers license with good driving record, ability to lift 50lbs, able to climb ladders and work from lifts, good mechanical ability, good customer service skills, and team oriented. We prefer previous equipment experience with Honeywell/Ademco, Bosch/Radionics, GE, DSC, intrusion alarms, fire alarms, video surveillance systems, card access, telephone entry, and intercoms. PLT license a plus. Must be willing to take a week of on-call rotation with other technicians.
Minimum requirements: All the requirements of an install technician (above) plus emphasis on excellent customer communication skills, computer skills in a MS Office environment, the ability to manage multiple priorities, enthusiasm and knowledge of troubleshooting, patient individual, knowledge of using a multimeter, and 2 years low-voltage experience.
Good previous track record in mechanical sales. Armor provides a competitive compensation package with base plus commission, and a vehicle allowance.
Requires enthusiastic person with good customer and leadership skills. Must lead a team of diverse people to work together towards common goals while providing a high level of organization and direction. This is a salaried position with a company vehicle.
